Job Summary
The Telematics Customer & Distribution Effectiveness Manager supports the advancement of Allstate’s telematics products/capabilities and supports Line Management telematics leaders with achieving organizational goals. This position leads, informs and executes the strategy for telematics growth, education and communication, working across both internal and external stakeholders/partners. This position may manage lower level analysts in accomplishing this work.
Key Responsibilities
Develops Telematics Strategies and Plans
- Understand and contribute to the achievement of short and long-term strategies
- Execute strategies to ensure the integration and execution of telematics products, pricing and risk management for countrywide usage
- Contribute to and/or lead telematics strategies which may include new distribution channel initiatives, best practices and new products and services
- Perform appropriate analysis (e.g. competitor, product, market, risk management, financial) to gain competitive advantage from a countrywide and/or program view
- Design and support innovations in all aspects of the product development lifecycle
- Support Telematics Line Management Leaders in the creation of communication plans, product development and recommendations to solve product or implementation issues
- Determine or execute operational parameters to get new products/projects implemented
- Responsible for seeking out resolutions to product barriers
Leads Telematics Integration and Execution
- Work directly with stakeholders and cross functional AORs including marketing, sales and field product organization to align on telematics strategies, execution methods and performance measurement
- Support coordinated efforts across the organization to facilitate the implementation of initiatives to drive growth, engagement and customer satisfaction
- Leverage expertise to provide recommendations to leaders on initiatives and strategic fit
- Engage in research, results and trends to inform strategy, identify opportunity areas and respond
- Manage teams, analysis and communications to ensure appropriate development, and execution of products
- Measure and communicate results; make recommendations to leaders on redirection opportunities of efforts
- Support business cases and influences others to take recommended actions
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consult on complex issues
Manage Human Resources
- Plans, monitors and maintains team expense plan
- Provides training/coaching to team members or peers; actively share expertise
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience: 7+ years of experience; telematics experience preferred
- Advanced product, price, underwriting and insurance regulation knowledge, with working knowledge of personal lines rate plans and product offerings
- Understand and articulate customer POVs
- Demonstrate and foster a sense of urgency, strong commitment and accountability for achieving results
- An advanced knowledge about business in general, knowledge of industry and company economics;
- Understand business tactics to support changing business strategies and direction;
- Demonstrate strategic thinking
- Understand complex concepts; Ability to solve complex problems

Compensation Data
Compensation range for this position is $91,800 to $135,000. Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. This position is bonus-eligible.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
